Welcome to day 5 of Reconnect – a 30 day yoga challenge to help you reconnect to your body, your breath, your heart, and to the things that are most meaningful in your life. Today we take time to notice what’s really important with an inspiring 25 minute yoga flow. The surface of the ocean often appears tumultuous and chaotic, but if we dip just below the surface, we see a whole new world that is vast, much more calm, and beautiful. The same is true with you.

Today’s affirmation:
Today I will take time and notice – the sky, the trees, the birds. I will notice the flowers. I will notice space and stillness. And I will feel grateful to be alive

Today’s Journal Exercise:
Your assignment is to take a short walk sometime today or tomorrow. On this walk be fully present in all 5 of your senses. Try to notice all the little things around you that you might otherwise miss because you’re lost in thought. Then journal about your experience. Make sure you have fun with this, and I will see you tomorrow for day 6!

This 30 day yoga challenge is great for all fitness levels, including beginners, and for bodies of all shapes and sizes. Always listen to your body, take breaks whenever necessary, skip or modify any poses that feel unreasonable in your body, and most importantly HAVE FUN 😉
